Hello everyone! My name is Joshua and this is the second year I am participating in the Ride for Roswell. Cancer has been taking lives since the beginning of humanity. Millions of people lose their lives to it each year, young or old, white or black, everyone around the world is affected by it.
Four years ago, it took my grandfather away from my family. He was a kind man with a beautiful heart and had an amazing sense of humor. He was a loving person that lit up any room he walked in, but in October of 2017, he was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed a few months later. Thousands of families have had loved ones taken away from them, cancer does not care and will take without remorse.
But not anymore, today we stand up to cancer. You wouldn't let someone take something beloved to you right in front of your face, so why should we allow cancer to do so?! A donation from you provides researchers the funding they rely on to investigate new treatments and cures that could save millions of lives. Help make a difference in the world and together we can get rid of this blight in our planet.
