The Empire State Ride Long Island is more than a bike ride. I am cycling to raise funds for Catholic Health-St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center to end cancer. My sister in law, Kristen Sykora, passed away from colon cancer in 2017, leaving behind her husband (my brother) and two little girls, Alden & Cadence. Kristen was only 40 years old & had the rest of her beautiful life ahead of her, only to be cut short by this terrible disease.

Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer. This is our opportunity to make a difference and impact cancer research from the seat of our bikes.
