The Empire State Ride is more than a bike ride. In July, I am cycling over 500 miles across New York State to end cancer.
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in November 2020, it was the hardest three words to digest. My response to my doctor was I CANT LEAVE MY DAUGHTER SHE NEEDS ME!!!!!! I was told I would be fine. I promised myself that I will be strong for myself and family. Moving forward I have underwent chemotherapy, had a double mastectomy, and radiation. I’m proud to say that I’m in REMISSION!!!! I couldn’t have done it without the support of my husband, my family, my friends, and all the amazing doctors, nurses, and staff at Columbia Presbyterian Lawrence hospital. Most importantly my daughter Elena she is my WHY my driving force everyday.
Please consider donating to my efforts today. No donation is too small, and every dollar adds up to something greater than what any one of us could ever accomplish alone. Join me in making a difference. I’m doing this ride for Myself, Melissa, Karina, Jona, Ariel, Teresa, Dalia, Kat, my friend Sharie Anderson who lost her life battling cancer, and for all those who aren't able to do it for themselves.
