Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
I was diagnosed in 2015 with melanoma, at the time it was just on my skin. I kept up with my dermatologist and never really thought much of it. All the tests and doctor's said I was good. In 2019 after my 10th removal of a melanoma, this time on my face, my wife made me an appappointment that I did not want to go to. It was then they told me the cancer had spread internally to my lungs. After a few more tests it was determined that it had actually spread to my brain as well. I was told to go to Roswell and have gamma knife radiation. I had no idea what was involved, but many doctors and friends told me I was on my way to be treated by the BEST.
A 3 years later radiation done, I continue on immunotherapy and I have been getting clear scans and on my way to recovery. Now it’s tome to give back!!
I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 2023 Ride for Roswell!
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world. For every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please consider making a donation today to help find cures. Together, we can make a difference.
