Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about your age, your sex, it doesn’t care about your family, or if your married or single, if your rich or poor, Cancer doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
Christmas Eve 2019 my husband received a phone call that forever changed our lives. His melanoma was no longer just on his skin, and even though lymph nodes were clear, and he had less than a 1% chance of it becoming more serious... we answered a phone call that said it was in his lungs and brain. Our world was shattered. We made a decision that night with family surrounding us that we were going to fight and never give up. We welcomed Roswell Park into our lives and 15 days later he had Gamma Knife radiation for the 14 lesions on his brain. He started his journey on immunotherapy... and he never gave up! He said he wanted to be a warrior and #inittoWINNit was born.
I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. And that is why I am participating in the 2023 Ride for Roswell!
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
