Dear Friends, 

 I will once again be participating in The Ride For Roswell this year. 

Being part of The Ride has been one of the most impactful experiences of my life. First and foremost, The Ride is a Fund Raiser, and the funds raised have made a huge difference for cancer patient care and for the doctors at Roswell who are making huge strides in researching cancer, finding cures, and developing treatments to help folks.  Please use this link to see how the funds raised make a difference. 

With retirement, Kim and I have been volunteering this year at Roswell and helping patients with their needs.  It has been part humbling/moving/growing experience.  Seeing how many folks are coming in for cancer care has only strengthened our resolve to help the patient experience and cancer research needs. 

I am still a patient at Roswell, not in treatment, just being monitored.  When we began participating in The Ride, we never envisioned having to using Roswell services.  After being a patient, I learned first-hand how vital their Cancer Research and development of new and better treatments help cancer patients. 

My goal for this year’s Ride is $2,000.  The funds raised from the Ride for Roswell will continue to be used to further develop cancer research and patient care.  One day we will hopefully find a cure.
