In August of 2020, I lost my mom to cancer only 4 months from her diagnosis. Since then I've been thinking about riding in this event, and now I have the chance to do so. If she was still here, and I asked her to do this with me, she would be riding right along my side. Instead, she'll be cheering us on from above.
