My Mom is the strongest person I know. She was diognosed with cancer in the fall of 2019. The cancer was discovered during her emergency bi-pass surgery. This was after her husband passed away weeks before. To say she has a rough year is an understatement. But, you know what? She continues on with a stong and fighting spirit. She is an insperation to everyone she knows. To honor her, I am taking on the Empire State Ride challenge.
The Empire State Ride is more than just a bike ride. In July, I am cycling over 500 miles across New York State to end cancer.
Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer. This is my opportunity to make a real difference and impact the state of cancer research from the seat of my bike. Together, we can fuel groundbreaking discoveries and bring an end to this terrible disease.
