Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 25th Anniversary Ride for Roswell on Saturday, June 25!
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world. For every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
I have a personal experience with this F-ING CANCER. I am doing well, I am almost three years from completing my treatment. 2019 was a rough summer. Surgery, 28 shots of blood thinner (they sucked more than the surgery), 27 radiation treatments internal and external, 6 chemo treatments, two emergency room visits, one I was very dehydrated and one passed out buck ass naked on the toilet and woke covered in my own PUKE, this led me to have a 5 day residence at Buffalo General!! NOT FUN!! Two blood transfusions, got to see my old friend (nurse there). Hopefully all continues to go well!!
But, I did get to through the first pitch out at the Buffalo Bisons game. It was "Strike Out Cancer night 2019," I will sum that up as.... it was f-ing AWESOME. I didn't want to leave the field!!!! And it was a great pitch!!!
Please consider making a donation today to help find cures. Together, we can make a difference.
