On October 18th, 2021, my mother died from brain and lung cancer. Every day I miss her, but because of the treatments that are available today, she was able to have 2 extra years of life after her diagnosis. During that time she and I gardened together, went cross-country skiing, baked pineapple-upside-down-cake, and I made sure to ask for stories of me as a baby. These precious times with her would not have been possible even 10 years ago, thanks to the improved cancer treatments available now.
And even more improved treatments can be developed with continued research. WE CAN WORK TOGETHER TO FUND THIS RESEARCH. This June 24th, I am riding 100 miles to fund raise for the Roswell Center. Please consider donating a dollar per mile! Or even 10 cents per mile would make a difference.
Love,
Sondra
