My daughter, Ella, and I will be riding 20 miles for the Ride for Roswell. I will be riding for my nana Nettie who is a two time cancer survivor. She was a patient at Roswell. Ella will be riding for her aunt who is currently in remission from her cancer. If it wasn’t for Roswell, we are not sure if she would be with us today. Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester told her she had less than a year to live but once we convinced her to come to Roswell for a second opinion, the doctor told her if she did chemo, there was a very good chance she would be in remission and thank goodness the doctor was right. If it wasn’t for Roswell, two people in our life may not be with us today.
Please consider donating. No amount is too small or too big. Every dollar counts. The funds raised, will help support the many patients who turn to Roswell each year and helps fund research to help find new treatment options that could save lives.
Cancer does not care about age or race. It does not care if it’s your family or friends. It does not care about what it takes drone us - or who it leaves behind.
But Ella and I care. We care about making a difference. That’s why we are participating in the 2022 Rode for Roswell.
