On June 22, I will be participating in the Ride For Roswell for the sixth year! As a ten year prostate cancer survivor, I know first hand the excellent care and treatment provided by Roswell Park. I am humbled to be cancer free!

Cancer has affected so many of my friends and family, and I will ride on the Rad.Med.Xfactor Team with my sister-in-law, Barb Hails (ovarian cancer survivor), and in memory of my cousin Vinny Burgio (who's 9 year battle with bone cancer ended just 5 months ago). I will also dedicate my ride in memory of my parents - Mike & Anna Burgio who I miss very much, as well as Nancy's Mom and her sister Kathy - who I never met because cancer took them too soon. Along my 20 mile route, I will remember so many cousins and friends who have survived cancer, as well as those family and friends we have lost to this disease.

Funding research is the only way we can cure cancer. For those who donated through our Football Square fundraiser, I truly thank you for your support!
