For the past 6 and a half years I have learned so much from every patient that I have crossed paths with.
Cancer patients are the most courageous, kind, generous, and strongest people I have ever met. Working in chemo infusion I see how much they care for one another, how they look for each other, and how they pray for each other. How they celebrate each bell ring as if it’s their own. How they laugh together and share stories. Loving us as nurses as if we were part of their family. Still thinking to ask us how we’re doing even though they’re the ones going through treatment. They are the most amazing people and I’m lucky to get to know them all.
They DESERVE a cure. And every family deserves to spend every holiday with their loved ones.
Let’s fight this awful disease together. Please consider donating for the Ride for Roswell.
I will be riding 45 miles on June 24th in honor of every fighter and in memory of the fights that had been lost.
I am forever grateful to Roswell for giving my Mom the ability to call herself a survivor.
I want that for everyone.
