The Empire State Ride is more than just a bike ride although it is a life changing bike ride. For the 3rd year I am participating in a 7 day, 500+ mile cycling adventure across New York State to end cancer. Once again I dedicate this ride to my wife Florence who died 5 years ago and my mother, Janet who died 42 years ago, both from cancer. They are with me every mile of the ride cheering me on and giving me the strength to continue on as the miles seem to get longer and the hills higher.
Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer. This is my opportunity and yours to change the state of cancer research for good. Together, we can fuel groundbreaking discoveries, find cancer cures and save lives.
