Cancer.
A word nobody ever wants to hear but a word that becomes a rallying cry for families friends ,neighbors and communities. This horrible disease doesn't care what it does to people we love or who it takes from us.
This is my fifth year riding and this year I'm honored to ride for a friend (extra family member ) a warrior, and most of all SURVIVOR. A woman who’s been like a second mom to me and so many, Marie Dziedzina.
She was diagnosed with bladder cancer and like so many who are diagnosed, she was wondering what her next next move should be. Thanks to some close friends and Roswell’s incredible reputation for patient care & innovation she decided to seek treatment there.
Thanks to their approach Marie is doing much better and it’s our dream that she’s going to get to hit that bell.
So once again I ask you to please join me in raising funds to support the more than 50,000 patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world. Also remember that for every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please consider making a donation today to help find a cure. Together, we can and will make a difference.
