I am excited to say that this will be my first year cycling over 500 miles across New York State, from New York City to Niagara Falls, to benefit Cancer Research at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center!
We all have been impacted by this terrible disease, whether personally or through the experiences of family and friends, and this is my opportunity to spread awareness and garner support for this great organization and the people they serve. I am very much looking forward to riding my bike across our beautiful state, meeting new and like-minded people, creating lasting friendships and connections, all while contributing and playing my part in the fight to end cancer. On this milestone 10th anniversary year, we ride towards a collective $10 million raised for innovative treatments and cutting-edge research. We as a community are getting closer and closer to finding cures and I hope you will join me in this effort.
This year I am riding to celebrate the survivors, to support those in treatment, and in remembrance for those who lost their battles. Specifically, I am riding in honor of two people who have been very instrumental in the growth and evolution of who I am in this life, my aunt Ms. Karen Schiro and my uncle Mr. David Fultz. These wonderful people are both currently fighting the good fight and are an inspiration to me and many others, all while spreading smiles and positivity through the challenges they currently face.
Please consider sharing this mission with others and donating, no matter the size, as every dollar raised has a lasting impact towards eradicating this horrendous disease.
Thank you very much for your generous support!
John Schiro
