In late 2018 my father David R Jakubaszek was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. I can't believe it's been 5 years! The evil kidney is long gone. It's been a long 5 years a spot pops up and Roswll helps Dadster knock it down, he truly is a trooper. The side effects of treatment can be rough but he never complains even thothough he loves to complain haha.
Late 2022 came with a new diagnosis for the Jakubaszek family. My mother Jean was diagnosed with CLL Chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Mom has been such a rock for Dad being there for every Dr visit and treatment they truly are inseparable. Mom's cancer was cought very early. So early intact that they are just monitoring her and she doesn't need any treatment yet here's hoping that it stays that way.
Dad and mom have resumed all of thier volunteering which is too many list but includes the American legion, nights of Columbus and the Ride for Roswell. one of the perks of all his volunteering is dad gets to tell all the lady's know how their eyes sparkle and that they are wearing a pretty smile.
We are hopeful for the good news to continue in 2023 so they can resume wintering in Florida this cold weather is rough on them. So here's to some fun in the SUN. The future looks BRIGHT
