This year I’m riding for the caregivers that make impossible dreams a reality. Caregivers are truly the unsung heroes of any patient’s journey. The patient leans on their caregiver sometimes with abuse, out of fear and anger. Requests from and every day care for a patient is exhausting, emotional, and deeply personal. Countless decisions are made without much thought to the caregiver. After all they are the taxis, the crutch, the shoulder, the listener, the nurse, the healer and the secretary. Along with so many other tasks. Personally as I look back on the past 7 years, I have no idea how I would have navigated this journey without my Wife. I’m so very fortunate to have such a dedicated love. Thank you caregivers everywhere!!
