Dear Friends and Family,
The Empire State Ride Long Island is more than a bike ride. On July 22, 2023, I am cycling 62 miles to raise funds for Catholic Health Cancer Institutes and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center to end cancer.
Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer. This is my opportunity to make a difference and impact cancer research from the seat of my bike. Together, we can fuel groundbreaking discoveries and bring an end to this terrible disease.
In February 2018 my wife was diagnosed with colon cancer. She completed a series of chemotherapy treatment and she is doing well. Her strength has inspired me to participate in this ride again this year.
