The year of grief, loss, and healing after losing a loved is never an easy journey. My beloved Bills Mafia Sister Mary, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer on May 3rd, 2021, continues to be my inspiration as I plan my 2023 Ride for Roswell fundraising. Dr. Emese Zsiros MD, PhD, FACOG, Director of Research, Associate Professor of Oncology, Associate Fellowship Director, Department of Gynecologic Oncology, at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and her wonderful team, will also inspire me, knowing how much they did to support and care for Mary.
I am also riding in memory of dear family and friends who are no longer with us and along with Mary, are looking down from above, cheering us on in this fight. This is much more than a bike ride for me — it’s my commitment to help find a cure for cancer.
A sincere thank you to EVERYONE who helped support us on Sunday, June 12, 2022, for the 2nd Annual RUSSELL J. SALVATORE BOWLING OPEN at Tonawanda Bowling Center. All proceeds benefit Roswell Park Cessation Services’ Ride for Roswell Team!
We look forward to having you join us for the 3rd Annual RUSSELL J. SALVATORE BOWLING OPEN at Tonawanda Bowling Center, on Sunday, April 23rd.
Please consider making a donation today to help me reach (and exceed) my fundraising goal. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
Fly high with the angels Mary. Love, Patti
