This year, things are different. Schools are closed, social distancing is our new normal, nurses, doctors, and so many other professionals are on the front lines of a pandemic that has consumed every aspect of our lives. We can only hope that what we experience today and, in the weeks and months to come, makes us stronger in what we believe in and value what we hold close to our hearts.
I am proud to be a member once again of the Racin’ for Rick Ride for Roswell Team. While things are different and we won’t have the full Ride as we have known, we will still Ride in Rick’s memory. This is the 10th anniversary for the team along with the 25th anniversary of the Ride for Roswell. I will also ride with the memories of all of those who have fought and won and those who are no longer with us. Last year, anyone who donated in honor or memory of someone could send the person’s name and it was written on my shirt that I wore on the day of the Ride. I can honestly say, I thought of each one on that day and I hold that memory very close to my heart.
I hope you will join me once again this year as I raise money to help in the fight to end cancer!
