This year I ride in loving memory of my Mom Dorothy DePlanche' & to keep a promise I made to her before she passed. Mom loved participating each year in the Ride for Roswell & was part of the extra mile club raising over $1000 almost every year since 2001. She was diagnosed & treated for ovarian cancer in 1999. Mom was a 3x ovarian cancer SURVIVOR & has been in remission for the last 25 years all thanks to Roswell Park doctors & research. She was passionate about raising money for the Ride for Roswell. In Sept she was diagnosed with amyloidosis, an agressive, rare blood disorder so back to Roswell we went. Mom fought courageously but wasn't able to continue treatment & this horrible, incureable disease took her life January 6, 2024. Roswell is currently doing clinical trials looking for a cure. Funds raised in the Ride for Roswell help support research like this. Please help me & my team raise money for Roswell in my Mom's memory!
The Ride for Roswell is so important to the Western New York community. We all care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That is why I am riding in the 2024 Ride for Roswell on June 22.
I need your help to raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients that turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center each year.
Please donate to my Ride for Roswell fundraiser. For every dollar donated to cancer research, Roswell Park is now able to leverage an additional $23 from external grants towards that research.
Together – we can end cancer!
