Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind. 

But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in The Ride For Roswell on Saturday, June 24!   I will be riding 44 miles from Roswell Park, over the Peace Bridge to Canada.  I will ride through Canada to Niagara Falls and back to the University at Buffalo North Campus in Amherst  this year.

This year I am riding in memory of my cousin Sharon who lost her battle with endometrial and breast cancer last December.   I am riding in memory of my dad who died of colon cancer in 1994 .  I am riding in memory of my mom who had endometrial cancer in 2018.  I am riding in memory of my aunt, three additional cousins and my godmother.  I am also riding in memory of my dogs Lucy and Maggie and my sister's dogs Stella and Maddie.  Finally, I'm riding in honor of my sister Valerie who is a cancer survivor.

Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the more than 50,000 patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world. For every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
