Cancer seemed to have hit a lot of our family and friends in 2023-including mine. There’s a post that I used a while back during one of my fundraisers that reads: “When someone you know has cancer, everyone that loves them does too”.  Unfortunately more of us have found that out. THIS DISEASE IS NOT EASY ON ANY OF US!! 

For those of you who reached out to me last year because of what I went through with my dad- or because I do The Ride For Roswell- I hope my words and careful listening gave you some comfort and/or direction.  

With that being said, I have signed up for what will be my 8th Ride For Roswell - While still honoring the memory of my dad and his battle- I honor whatever reason you decide to donate as well as for US”!! Those who have spent countless hours in the hospital, at appointments, by ones bedside making sure they are getting the best possible care- all while trying to understand “WHY”. 

In closing, I thank you all for reading and maybe at least thinking about donating. I see where your donations go and I’m proud to say- “It’s unbelievable and proud we’re a part of it”.
