In 2018 the Roswell Park Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program was officially launched! Through this collaborative program, we have expanded our services to provide the best and most cutting edge care to our youngest and most vulnerable patients with cancer and nonmalignant blood disorders. This has enabled our patients and their families to stay right here in Western New York for treatments not previously available in our region.
This June 22nd I will be riding for these patients, and all of our pediatric patients and families! I would love your support as we Ride towards pediatric cancer and blood disorders cures!
With one in two men and one in three women in America being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, most of us know someone who has been affected by this devastating disease. I will be riding in honor of my own family members whose lives have been impacted by cancer, including my brother, Jim Kelly, who lost his battle with brain cancer in 2006 and my mother-in-law, Marilyn Van Syckel, who passed away this February 2024 from uterine cancer. You can make a difference by supporting me in The Ride For Roswell. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate, innovative patient care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
