With cancer survivor Mike Paradowski and RfR founder Mitch Flynn at the start of the Peloton Ride 2022
Ride for Roswell 2023
Together we will beat cancer. A slogan that is not new, but still valid. Still more research is needed to find even better treatments, or even better, a cure. Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of the leading cancer research centers in the US and all the money the Ride raises will be used to fund more research to find a cure for cancer.
I have lost several friends and former colleagues to cancer. This year I will ride in honor of friends: Archie Glick, Myrna de Graaff, Donna Frydrychowski, Sjaak Arts, Robin Solis, David Fisher and Robert Carloni.
I will ride in support of Mark Kucharski, Shelly Reisdorf, Hanneke Nicolaes, Leon Komm and Le Dung Truong.
I am signed up to do a 65-mile country route. The 65-Mile Country Route takes us to Amherst, Clarence, Newstead, Alabama, Royalton, Shelby and back along Tonawanda Creek over some nice rolling hills along the route.
This will be my 7th Ride for Roswell and my 6th Peloton ride and my lifetime total until now is $ 56.616. My goal this year is to get to a 7 year total of $ 70,000, hence this year’s goal: $ 13.384!
Will you help me to reach that goal, but more important, raise much needed funding to find a cure for cancer. It is very much appreciated!
