Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind. 

But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in The Ride For Roswell onth.

This year I am dedicating my ride in memory of those family and friends who fought a courageous  battle before succumbing to this terrible disease:  Mike M., Julie Cardella, Trish Hartmeier,  Ben, Drusie Olivieri, Robert Dempsey, Nancy, Pat Dempsey, John Szymkowiak, and Dave, and in honor of those currently undergoing treatment, just finishing treatment, and long term survivors; Vicki, Mary Kay, John T., Adrianna, Cheryl, Paul, Bob, and my brothers Chris and  Ken.  I am also dedicating this ride to  Sue whose team I joined for the second year! 

You are all the real heroes!
