I wish to first of all thank all of you who donated for my Ride for Roswell last year and helped raise $1800.
It is the 25th Anniversary for the Ride for Roswell, and many milestone anniversaries for myself. This is the 15th year that I am participating in the Ride for Roswell, and my 18th year in remission from Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, along with 2 other cancers I have fought through in the past 14 years.
The most terrific impact, however, Roswell has had on my family is helping my wife live as normal a life as possible after her 10-year anniversary battling Leukemia. While two others in our family have passed away from Pancreatic Cancer.
As the Ride for Roswell is very personal to me, I also ride for my family, friends and all the patients so that they will have their own success story due to this wonderful facility. I also ride in honor of all those who we have fought the fight but are no longer with us.
Thanks to the efforts of the physicians and researchers at Roswell Park, more people, like my wife, are living with Cancer rather than dying from it. 100% of the money that you contribute goes directly to the development of more groundbreaking efforts. Proceeds from the Ride have helped fund research into vaccines against Cancer tests determining whether a Cancer is likely to spread or not, and into more effective treatments, like those performed on my wife and myself
My 65 mile ride this year is to ask for donations to continue Roswell’s research so that other’s will have their cure.
Would you please find it in your heart the willingness to donate to this great cause to find a cure for Cancer, so that we can be another step closer in fighting this disease for everyone.
