I'm back! Once again, I ride in memory of my mother, Judy Klug. Mom fought the good fight for 4 years against myelodysplastic syndrome, then acute myelogenous leukemia. Dr. Elizabeth Griffiths was instrumental in giving mom more time with us before she went home to the Lord.
I ride in honor of my sister Judi Gribben, who is a cancer survivor, and one of the strongest women I know, and other family members and friends.
In addition, I ride in memory of so many family members. My grandfather, Chester Yauchzy, who was treated at Roswell by Dr. Meir Wetzler. My father-in-law, Don Will; grandma Elsie Yauchzy; Zelda, Garth, and Dorrance Yauchzy; Mary and Phil Vance.
With one in two men and one in three women in America being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, most of us know someone who has been affected by this devastating disease. You can make a difference by supporting me in The Ride For Roswell. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate, innovative patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
Let's do this!
