Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
This year I will be riding in memory of my father, Thomas Crowe. Dad passed away June 11, 2023, shortly after having been diagnosed with gastric cancer.
My Dad was a man of few words, but a man of great faith, a great father, and a great role model who throughout his life made many sacrifices for his family. We miss you greatly, dad!
To help find a cure for cancers like dad’s, I will again be riding in the 44-mile Canada Route this year, as part of The Ride for Roswell on Saturday, June 22. The ride starts at Roswell Park, goes over the Peace Bridge into Canada and along the Niagara Parkway to Niagara Falls. Once in Niagara Falls, the route crosses over the Rainbow Bridge and heads for a finish at the University at Buffalo. If I reach my fundraising goal, I also hope to be riding in the Ride for Roswell Peloton which kicks off the opening ceremony on Friday night.
You can make a difference by supporting me in The Ride for Roswell. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate, innovative patient care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Please consider supporting me. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
As always, I thank you, and am very grateful for your support!
