The Ride for Roswell is so important to the Western New York community. This is my 14th year riding. I couldn’t ride last year because my back issues wouldn’t allow it. I’m back and strong for 2024 We all have been touched by cancer in someway. Maybe you lost someone love, maybe you’re celebrating survivors, maybe you’re in the fight of your life. I’m trying to making a difference in the future of cancer research and bring an end to a horrible disease that has caused so much pain for so many people. I am fortunate, I have never had to fight cancer myself. I watched my friends and my cousin fight with all they’ve got and they’ve beat it. I’ve watched family and a dear friend fight with all they have and not beat it.
So this year is different for me. I’m not dedicating my ride to one person. This year I celebrate my loved ones who’ve won the fight and I grieve for those that didn’t
I miss my mom and dad. I miss my friend Sue. I miss so many others.
I need your help to raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients that turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center each year.
Please take a moment and consider donating to my ride. Every dollar makes a difference. For every dollar donated to cancer research, Roswell Park is now able to leverage an additional $23 from external grants towards that research.
