I am participating in The Ride For Roswell on Saturday, June 27! This is much more than a bike ride for me — it’s my commitment to honor the memory of my husband, Gregg Lipsitz and my little brother Irving Isenberg in the fight to end cancer.
Not a day goes by that these men are not in my thoughts. Gregg had the joy of watching his children, grandchildren and our busines grow. He would be so proud!
I am grateful to Roswell, Dr. Iyer and all staff for giving Gregg "bonus" time. He lived to see all our children married, he held 4 of his grand babies, knew #5, (Liv Greggory) was coming and baby 6 is Bennett Gregg. What a legacy!
My brother, Irving, was a Information Technology Specialist, a Getzville Firefighter, EMT and a 1st responder to 911. He died of Multiple Myeloma, a rare cancer that has become increasingly common in the September 11th attack. He was a hero!
You can make a difference in the fight against cancer by supporting my fundraising efforts. In fact, for every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Not only am I riding for Gregg and Irving, I will also be riding in memory of all the survivors & those who lost a loved one, and in honor of people still fighting. Finally, a huge thank you to my family and my friends that keep me living and loving everyday.
Please consider making a donation today to help me reach (and exceed) my fundraising goal. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
