This year I will be riding for cancer cures during the 2022 Ride for Roswell! As one of the nation’s largest cycling events, the Ride is a powerful reminder that each of us can make a difference. Funds raised go directly to our cutting-edge cancer research here at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and around the world.

Your participation and donation to team; WETZLER'S WARRIORS, is a donation in the latest leukemia research. Your gift will contribute to the discovery and constantly improving treatments. At any given time, there are 15 to 25 leukemia-focused clinical studies open for enrollment at Roswell Park. Because of these trials and the cutting-edge work done in our Clinical Research Center, Roswell Park can offer patients access to treatments that are not widely available elsewhere. One new study, called Mic-Seq, has uncovered how to determine where chromosomal damage is occurring in red blood cell micronuclei and then identify the genes likely to be compromised, which could lead to predictive tests to help patients with certain types of leukemia. Funds will be distributed based on most promising studies as determined by the leukemia research group.
