Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
As you probably are aware, my sister-in-law was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer some years back. It is unfortunate that she lost her fight last year in June. On January 23, she would have been 40 years old.
Despite this, my friends, my family and I are continuing to ride to help so many more in her memory.
As one of the nation’s largest cycling events, the Ride is a powerful reminder that each of us can make a difference. Funds raised go directly to cutting-edge cancer research and quality-of-life programs that help patients at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and around the world. Each donation brings us one step closer to ending cancer.
I will be riding 44 miles through Canada for cancer cures during the 2024 Ride for Roswell! I have set a personal fundraising goal of $4,000 for Jess' 40th birthday, and once again need your help to reach it. No donation is too small – in fact, every dollar donated to research at Roswell Park can be leveraged for an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world.
Please consider making a donation today to help find cures. Together, we can make a difference.
