I am riding in memory of Jim, my husband and best friend. We were a team, he was my right hand man and everyday he is still in my thoughts and I miss him so much.
So often someone we know is being diagnosed with cancer and it does not just affect the person diagnosed, it affects everyone close to that person. Like Jim, they give it their all and fight as hard as they can, but the cancer wins. We need to put a stop to cancer. The Ride for Roswell is where we can all come together as a team to help in finding a cure.
In January I was listening to a sermon entitled , The God of Breakthroughs. Pastor asked the question, “Where is it you desire to see God bring breakthrough in your life?” One of my breakthroughs I am praying for is that 2022 will be the year of breakthroughs for finding cures for cancer. Wouldn’t it be great if cancer was something we did not have to worry about because it was curable?
The fight against cancer is a team effort. This year I am riding 30 miles. While Jim won’t be there physically to ride with me, he will be with me in spirit when I ride with my team as we peddle to end cancer. Thank you for your support and prayers in finding a cure for cancer!
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
