This year is very personal to me and one of the hardest to endure. This past 12 months I've had the passing of my best friend and partner of 34 pass, a former cancer patient of Roswell Park. Within 5 months I lost my brother who had been battling lung, bone, then brain cancer. Within 2 weeks of his passing, my neighbor of 49 years to brain cancer. At work we lost a revered colleague to this horrendous disease. There are others as well and may they all RIP. Now, I NEED YOUR HELP !. We all have very similar stories in our own lives. Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends and it doesn't care if your black or white. Cancer doesn't discriminate. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 2024 Ride for Roswell! I might be late registering to ride this year BUT , I'm riding, doing the 20 mile country route.
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world. For every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please consider making a donation today to help find cures. Together, we can make a difference.
