I am riding in support of my friends and family who have been touched by cancer.  Many survive cancer with the help of the research at Roswell Park.  A few can even say that is wasn't so bad due to early screening and treatments developed with the help of research at Roswell Park.  Unfortunately, cancer still takes too many lives.  Please help support this cause to increase awareness and work towards a cure.

The ride not about how many miles we ride.  It is about being together, riding with friends and all the people at the ride, supporting those who are fighting, celebrating those who won the fight, and remembering those we lost.

Much of this money goes toward developing research.  This is where the seeds of new research are sown.  I never understood this before joining the Ride.  This is the type of startup research that the government grants don't cover.  Before you can get the grant, you need the preliminary research to show it is promising.  Fundraisers, such as the Ride for Roswell, is where that important research money comes from.
