We ride because cancer sucks!

This is my 13th year supporting the Ride for Roswell and Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Tom joins me again for a 20-mile ride this year--Amanda and Holly are riding 30 miles!

We ride for a long list of cancer survivors including my mom Mary Cay Eckert and my cousin Sue Whitney. We also ride for those who have lost their lives to cancer too, Ellen Balthasar, Norman Gore, Christine Bowes Morley, Ann and Mike Kirwan, Franklin and Helen Fries, Pat Whitney, and other loved ones.

Roswell Park means a lot to us personally because it is a place that has treated and saved the lives of people we love. Sadly, there have also been friends and family who have lost their cancer battle too. We are forever grateful for the medical personnel, the innovative technology, and the caring atmosphere of this prestigious hospital, ranked #14 in the nation.
