On June 25th I will be riding a bicycle again in the "Ride for Roswell" fundraiser. This event raises funds for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's cancer research and patient care here in Buffalo. I had a brain tumor removed seven years ago at Roswell Park and clear brain scans ever since then.
Did You Know:
I volunteer every week at Roswell Park and serve on both Roswell Park's Patient and Family Advisory Board and the hospital's Ethics Committee. I volunteer, ride, and raise money in recognition of the extraordinary skill, care, and compassion all of the staff at Roswell has provided to me and my family, and the groundbreaking cancer research being conducted at Roswell. I am doing my part; please help me raise funds for this valuable cause. To learn more about Roswell and the work supported by this fundraiser, please click on the "Your Impact" link above.
Over the last five years I have raised over $15,000 for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. I ride on a team called "Kids Just Want To Have Fun" that has raised more than $2,000,000 for pediatric cancer research. If you have donated in the past, I sincerely appreciate it, but I would ask that you donate again. If you haven't donated, this is the year to do it.
Most of us know someone who has been affected by cancer. Many of you have been directly impacted. You can make a difference by supporting me as I raise funds for the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in The Ride For Roswell, .
