Hello friends!
It’s another year of me asking and nagging and begging for money to continue the work that Roswell Park does to save lives.
We didn’t get the miracle for my sister Michelle, but we did with me and my beautiful niece Madeline!
Everyone should get a cure, a new lease on life, a future with holds all the things you dream of. I got to see my boys grow up to be amazing men! I have gotten to live my best life as a grandma to Donovan- it is everything and then some!
Tonight my niece Madeline who was diagnosed at just about 4 years old with leukemia is going to her prom. I know I have told this story but it bears repeating. She had an amazing nurse at the time who showed her a textbook and told her that one of the chemotherapies she received came from the periwinkle flower (vincristine). She then told her she should wear a periwinkle colored prom dress to honor that flower that saved her! Madeline always remembered that and here she is tonight with a periwinkle dress and toes to match at her prom at 18 years old! This is why we raise money!
Please donate to honor all the “Michelle’s” and celebrate all the “Madeline’s”
