Both sides of my family have been hit by cancer in some form or another and all who have encountered it have battled it bravely and relentlessly. I miss those who have been taken from my family, and I honor those who have survived their battles. The Ride is my way of honoring all those who have come into contact with cancer, and my way of raising awareness and funds as a way to help bust cancer for good, contributing to research for a cure and ways to support cancer patients undergoing treatment!
This year, in addition to my family and friends that I ride in memory of-Papa and Uncle Chuck (to name a couple) and in honor of Aunt Joan, Aunt Sharon, Shannon, and Lauren (to name a few more), this year, I'm also riding in memory of Tim Leonard, my husband's former bandmate, who passed away fall 2022.
Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind. But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease! Let's work together to bust this terrible disease!
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the more than 50,000 patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world. For every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please consider making a donation today to help find cures. All donations help get us ever closer to our goal-ending cancer's stranglehold. Together, we can make a difference and really work to finally bust cancer!
