I've been involved in the Ride For Roswell before and after my sister, Mary Jane, passed away. I sincerely hope that someday nobody will endure the suffering that she did for the ten months following her diagnosis. She was a distance runner who still holds records from high school and beyond. She always stayed healthy and lived without vices. Unfair as it is, cancer does not discriminate. Regardless, I hope for the day when precious lives are not shortened due to cancer. This is why, as long as I am able, I will continue to be involved.
