On October 16, 2008 my niece, AnnaLynn, was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. On March 26, 2010 she received a bone marrow transplant and luckily she has been in remission ever since! Roswell Park Cancer Institute has been there for her and her family every step of the way. They provided vital treatment and support. Aside from the collective 4 months she had spent as an inpatient at Roswell, there were weeks where she had to be taken there every day for treatment. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, the staff is amazing! We are very lucky to have Roswell in our backyard!
I am proud to share with you an update on AnnaLynn. She is continuing her Post Doctoral work in the Epidemiology Department at St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, TN. Her focus is cancer survivorship.
Lets raise funds together to help Roswell Park prosper and fulfill their mission to Understand, Prevent, and CURE cancer! Any amount, even $1 will help!
Thanks for your support.
