Hello! On June 22nd I am participating in a bike ride called the Ride for Roswell. This will be my nineteenth year participating in The Ride. As many of you know, I started riding when my mom Susan Minorczyk was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002. In September of 2006, she lost her battle to breast cancer. Through every treatment, every operation, every complication, every doctor visit... my mom's positive spirit and take no prisoner's attitude always prevailed. Quite simply, my mom is my hero and I made a vow to do the Ride for Roswell in honor of her for as long as I can.
My mom was a patient at Roswell Park and I know she was grateful for the generous care and professionalism she received there. And, three years I became a patient at Roswell Park. A two inch tumor was discovered on my adrenal gland and the gland and tumor were removed. Luckily, the tumor was benign, but I am now under the care of Roswell for periodic tests and checkups. Throughout the whole process, the staff at Roswell were incredibly informative and supportive.
Now more then ever, Roswell Park Cancer Institute needs our commitment in order to expand its leadership and research efforts. I am asking that if it's possible, please consider donating to the Ride for Roswell. Anything you could give would be greatly appreciated and your donation is tax-deductible.
Sincerely,
Greg Minorczyk
