One in two men and one in three women in America will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. With these statistics all of us know someone close who has been affected by this pervasive disease. Progress has definitely been made and treatment methods have come a long way and yet there is still more to do to put an end to this disease. Working together we can help find better treatment leading to cures and more lives can be saved.
I look forward to this ride every year for it allows me an opportunity to contribute to a cause that deeply impacted my family and continues to affect the lives of countless friends and family members. I ride in memory of my mother who succumbed to breast cancer 35 years ago, a dear childhood friend whose life was cut way too short in 2019, and in honor of my warrior sister, Connie, who is battling breast cancer right now.
Please consider donating to my ride. Together we can put an end to this widespread pervasive disease. Thank you!
