My first Ride for Roswell was 14 yrs ago. Our daughter, Melanie,a childhood cancer survivor was getting married. Ken and I rode in thanks for RPCI. Since then there have been numerous reasons to continue riding. My sister, Yvonne, had a successful BMT. I ride with a prayer for her continuing good health.
Since last year, my sister, Jane, had a cancerous lesion removed from her lung. Our son and son-in-law have had melanomas removed. I ride in support for continuing good follow ups
It is with a very heavy heart that we ride in memory of Manju, the sister of our dear Mona. Manju lost her courageous 3 yr battle with cancer just days before Christmas.
My Roswell Volunteer buddy, Larry, lost the love of his life, Sue . My initial donation was made in her memory.
Most recently, a beloved cousin, Wally Stetz, lost his battle with a Glioblastoma.
For all of my reasons and yours, I RIDE FOR ROSWELL.
