With one in two men and one in three women in America being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, most of us know someone who has been affected by this devastating disease. You can make a difference by supporting me in The Ride For Roswell. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate, innovative patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
I am participating in the Ride For Roswell again this year. I am a member of Team Sloth. Mike Paradowski (Empire State Ride, class of 2017) is the captain. Mike and I were part of the self proclaimed, "ESR No Stress Express AARP Group" a few years ago. I began participating in Ride for Roswell in 2013, the year after I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. My body responded well to chemo, radiation and surgery. I consider myself very fortunate and am thankful to Roswell Park.
I have signed up for the 44 mile Canada ride. I ride in memory and honor of many: Mom, Dad, Uncle Jack, Uncle Leigh, Aunt Helen, Christine, Shirley, Milly, Paul, Viola, Shane, Doug, and so many more I have met through Relay For Life, Ride For Roswell, and Empire State Ride.
Please consider making a donation to Roswell Park in my name. No donation is too small. We are all working together to fight cancer.
On June 4, any donations made to my Ride For Roswell account will be matched by Rob and me. June 4th is the twelfth anniversary of my esophagectomy at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. We do this as a thank you to Roswell Park for all they have done for me since my cancer diagnosis.
Roswell Park Alliance is able to increase your donation, times 23, through grants. Your donation matters!!
