This year I am participating in the Ride for Roswell in memory of my dear and life long friend Diane Ziolko Costanzo, who lost her battle with cancer in August this past year. 

Every year that I am capable of participating, I realize how fortunate I am to be able to do so and appreciate each and every new day.

Having been successfully treated for Breast Cancer in 2015 and Bladder Cancer in 2021, I faced a bladder cancer recurrence in August 2023. This time my treatments included immunotherapy.  This treatment was made possible with the donations raised in the Ride for Roswell.  Funds raised through this event support lifesaving clinical trials, critical cutting-edge cancer research and innovative patient care programs. Roswell's research and developments go beyond the Buffalo community and Western New York and extend their outreach to cancer care throughout the world.

I continue to personally experience and benefit from the remarkable work Roswell Park Cancer Institute does.  I am grateful for the wonderful ongoing support, care and compassion Roswell provides managing my care throughout this ongoing journey.
