Thanks for clicking on my fundraising page! The question can be asked, "Why do I ride?". Cancer has affected our family for generations, going back to my dad losing his mother to breast cancer when he was 14 years old. Her name was Charlotte Geyer and my parents chose to name their philanthropic foundation in her honor. For decades they have supported cancer research, and since I administered those donations, cancer research was regularly a dinner table discussion. My mom, who is now 90 years old, was treated at Roswell for breast cancer, and my daughter had her thyroid removed at Roswell due to cancer. Aunts, cousins, and friends have all faced the journey, and as for most people, it becomes very personal to me.
I am proud to be a member of the Roswell Alliance Foundation Board, and I can personally attest to the due diligence done in seeing that funds raised through the Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate patient care programs.
I would be grateful if you would make a donation today to support my Ride. Together, we can help find cures and save lives.
