Michele's Ride for Roswell year 11
Twelve years ago I had two people very close to me diagnosed with cancer. We had all just turned 50. Prior to this I always was too busy with life to ride. That first year I rode in honor of Cheryl and Dawn as they were now cancer free. I am so glad to have them still with me. Unfortunately, I have added so many other friends and family to my list "diagnosed with cancer". I'm sure you too know many struggling with this disease.
Annually, I ride in honor of friends and family battling cancer. I ride in memory of those whose battles were lost. The stories of those I have met through my rides is inspiring me to keep riding. Our family lost my brother in law and Alex's godfather, John Pares 12/29/22 to lung cancer. This ride is for John, for all the wonderful family memories we have of you. We miss you John.
That first year I was so excited to raise a few hundred dollars. Now with your generosity I amazingly raise over $5000 annually for Roswell Park. This money funds critical research and treatment programs for cancer. We are so fortunate to have this resource here in Western New York. I will again be riding the 65 mile country route and the 10 mile peloton the night before. Come and cheer me on.
Please honor a loved one by donating to the 28th annual Ride for Roswell in 2023 under my name Michele Ambor-Hutz
With one in two men and one in three women in America being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, most of us know someone who has been affected by this devastating disease. You can make a difference by supporting me in The Ride For Roswell. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate, innovative patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Please consider donating today. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
